Irish Aid in partnership with WorldWise Global Schools (WWGS) hosted a symposium for school leaders in Iveagh House on November 16th. Over sixty principals and deputy principals from second level schools gathered for the first in-person management symposium since 2019.
A Government programme offering professionals from around the world the opportunity to study for Masters-level qualifications in Ireland has been expanded to applicants in Latin America for the first time.
Ireland today pledged a further €5 million to fund humanitarian relief in Yemen. The funding, provided to the Yemen Humanitarian Fund, will provide critical aid to people affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the country.

Colm Brophy T.D., Minister for Overseas Development Aid and Diaspora, today launched the 2022 Our World Irish Aid Awards, enabling thousands of primary school pupils all over Ireland to learn about sustainable development and Ireland’s role in tackling global poverty and climate change. This year’s theme is Wellbeing for People and Planet.
Congratulations to all participants at BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition 2022 and in particular to the winners of the Self Help Africa/ Irish Aid Science for Development Award.
