Irish Aid Volunteering Fair: Volunteer For A Better World

The Irish Aid Volunteering Fair 2013 was held in our Information Centre at 27-31 O'Connell St. on Sat. 12th October.‎

The fair showcased volunteering options in a variety of developing countries. 22 Volunteer Sending Agencies gave advice and presentations detailing their placements, the application process and their personal experiences.

The Minister of State for Trade and Development Joe Costello T.D. launched a new Irish Aid Volunteering Initiative which will enhance Ireland’s future support for volunteering. The day also featured a series of lively talks and workshops discussing overseas volunteering opportunities and the sustainable development results achieved through volunteering in developing countries.
