The Gender Equality Policy Goal is to support the achievement of gender equality as an essential component of sustainable human development. The Policy Objectives of Development Cooperation Ireland’s Gender Equality Policy are 1. To advance equal rights for women and men 2. To eliminate gender inequalities in access to, control of and benefit from resources and services 3. To support women’s equal participation with men in political and economic decision-making.
