Through its Multi-Annual Programme Scheme (MAPS), Irish Aid has provided long-term, predictable and significant funding for five civil society partner agencies since 2003. The evaluation found that MAPS II funding has made a discernible difference to the nature and quality of the work undertaken within the respective country programming of the partners.
