Zambia is a landlocked country located in Southern Africa with a population of approximately 16 million. The territory of Zambia covers 752,618 square kilometres. The average annual temperature in Zambia has increased by 1.3ºC degrees from 1960 to 2006 and is projected to increase by 1.2 to 3.4ºC degrees by the 2060s with more rapid warning in the southern and western regions (McSweeney et al. 2010).
