Public Meeting on One World, One Future

Aid Effectiveness, News/feature, Africa, Global, Ireland, 2013

In May this year Ireland’s new policy for international development One World, One Future was launched, setting out Ireland’s vision, goals and priority areas for our international development over the coming years.

Minister for Trade and Development, Joe Costello TD is now inviting members of the public to meetings to discuss the new policy, One World, One Future.

The next meetings, which will take place in Cork and Limerick, will give members of the Irish public and development stakeholders the opportunity to discuss the policy and give suggestions on how best to implement it.

Details of public consultations are outlined below.

  • The Clarion Hotel, Lapp's Quay, Cork from 7.00pm - 8.30pm on Monday 15th July
  • The Clarion Hotel, Steamboat Quay, Limerick from 7.00pm - 8.30pm on Wednesday, 17th July

If you cannot attend either of the meetings, we hope you will still join in the discussion. We will be accepting questions via twitter over the coming days which Minister Costello will answer during the public meeting in Limerick on 17th July and we will tweet his response.
